About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Development Lead to join our dynamic team, driving the successful delivery of a landmark mixed-use energy project in South Wales. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative initiative that integrates renewable energy, commercial spaces, and residential developments. Fluency in Welsh is essential to engage effectively with local stakeholders and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and coordinate the end-to-end development process for the project, ensuring milestones are met within budget and schedule.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, community groups, contractors, and partners.
  3. Manage planning applications, regulatory compliance, and environmental assessments.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, and legal advisors.
  5. Oversee risk management, ensuring timely identification and mitigation of project challenges.
  6. Communicate project progress to internal and external stakeholders in both Welsh and English.

Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Proven experience in leading large-scale construction or energy projects.
  2. Strong knowledge of development processes, including planning regulations and environmental considerations.
  3. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with fluency in Welsh and English.
  4. Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
