A healthcare organization in the UK seeks a leader for the Transfusion 2024 programme, focusing on improving transfusion services and patient care. The role includes project management and collaboration with service leaders. A HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist is required along with substantial experience in transfusion environments. This is a 6-month fixed-term role with competitive salary offerings.
£55,690 - £62,682 per annum (in accordance with 25/26 pay scales, HCAS where applicable)
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Transfusion 2024 (T2024) programme team as a secondment/fixed term role.
The Transfusion 2024 strategic plan outlined key priorities to improve clinical and laboratory transfusion practice, NHSBT has commenced a programme of change to deliver specific objectives.
We are looking for an ambitious leader who will use their transfusion expertise to develop, establish and deliver projects supporting the integration of Red Cell Immunohaematology (RCI) services in hospitals. It is an opportunity to work across national frameworks, gaining strategic experience in a programme that will expand your knowledge and skills.
You will work closely with service leaders to plan improvements that will make a difference to patient care; digital developments will be a key enabler for this change.
