Development Engineer - Medical Diagnostic Systems

Be part of developing next-gen fluidic systems powering a breakthrough diagnostic platform that rapidly identifies the right antibiotic treatment.

What you'll work on:

  • Architect and implement software and embedded algorithms for precision fluid handling

  • Design, prototype, and validate hardware-software integrated subsystems, focusing on real-time control and system reliability.

  • Develop automated test procedures and capture detailed performance data across unit, subsystem, and full system levels.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, service, and suppliers to drive continuous product improvement.

  • Apply best practices in software development, leveraging MATLAB, Python, and programming, aligned with medical device standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304).

Who you are:

  • Experienced in developing control systems with a strong software development background.

  • Familiarity with microfluidic technologies, specialized automation, or medical device development is a plus.

  • Holder of a degree in Biomedical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or a related engineering or technical discipline (minimum 2:1).

  • Self-driven with strong problem-solving skills, able to manage deliverables independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
