Job Description:
As a Development Engineer Graduate, you will be given the required support and opportunities to develop your skills to become a key member of the appliance development team. You will work as part of a cross-functional team within Bosch Home Comfort (HC) on the development and testing of appliances to ensure compliance with relevant directives, standards, and internal requirements to achieve the product requirements.
Scope:
- Work as part of multinational teams assisting with the specification and development of components and modules.
- Complete development tasks including test work, drawing conclusions with recommendations.
- Communicate within the project team and network of experts on development topics.
- Provide technical support of the product to other relevant departments with new product introduction, major modifications, and existing appliances.
- Work in accordance with Bosch Business System including working to internal requirements and following best practices and guidelines.
Development opportunities:
- Be part of the development team working on current and future projects, ensuring all requirements are completed fully from the agreed test plan.
- Opportunity to generate ideas and solutions for current and new appliances.
- Develop skills for planning and completing tasks on aspects of the main project to the agreed test plan.
- Complete relevant research and calculations when required.
Qualifications:
- Engineering background with appropriate Degree level qualification.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal at all levels, with the ability to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders from multi-disciplined teams and international locations including external authorities.
- Creative approach to problem solving.
- Self-motivated person who is open and approachable, able to work well individually and in a team environment.
- Confidence to challenge and propose new ideas professionally.

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
