Development Engineer (Engines/Fuel Systems) - Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

£45 - £49 per hour (Umbrella) | Inside IR35 | 12-month initial contract with potential for long-term extension

Overview: An excellent opportunity for a Development Engineer with experience in engine components or fuel systems to join a market-leading company. This role offers an exciting and diverse environment to work on innovative projects.

Do you have experience in developing engine components such as fuel injectors or turbochargers? Are you seeking a role that allows you to work autonomously on cutting-edge products for an international organization at the forefront of the sector? This multinational company, renowned for the high quality of its products for over 100 years, is expanding its team.

Responsibilities:

1. Work on a range of development projects within a highly skilled team, from concept through to production.
2. Develop engine components, including turbochargers, ERGs, and fuel delivery systems.
3. Optimize product performance and engine efficiency.

This role involves working a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working options. A minimum of 3 days per week on-site attendance is required.

The Role:

• Collaborate with the team to improve product performance.
• Develop components throughout the problem lifecycle, from concept to production.
• 12-month contract, working within IR35 regulations, with hybrid working opportunities.

• Experienced Development Engineer with a background in engine systems.
