Rolls-Royce is seeking a Development Engineer in Bristol on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days in the office). Position Summary: To own and deliver Development activities e.g. Verification & Validation (V&V), Build/Experiment definition across Component, Bench Engine and Installed Verification (Flight Test), and the subsequent delivery of V&V data back to the programmes. The Development Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Rolls-Royce has sufficient oversight for our products to meet business, customer and regulatory requirements. It covers engineers who are performing Development, Systems Engineering and Verification style roles. This is an integration role where the individual will work to enable all engineering teams through coaching and support to successfully develop robust, verified engineering solutions against robust validated customer requirements. This role sits within our Defence business and supports our multinational programmes to deliver the next generation of Defence capability.
Degree level in Engineering or equivalent Experience in relevant domain is preferred but not essential Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
