  • Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Practical experience in mechanical and electronic prototype assembly, including soldering, wiring, and tool use.
  • Experience in developing, fault-finding, and iteratively testing prototypes or test rigs.
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, reading technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to design and execute test protocols, analyse data, and document results clearly.
  • Experience working within product development environments, especially in R&D, prototyping, or testing teams.
  • Knowledge of lab safety protocols and quality standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Familiarity with CAD or wiring diagram software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, EPLAN).
