Job summary

Young Sounds UK is seeking an exceptional Development Director to lead the delivery of the income generation strategy and supporter engagement. The role focuses on identifying, cultivating, and securing high-value donors while guiding a small fundraising team including a Head of Development.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior fundraising or development roles.
• Strong track record of cultivating and securing major gifts and philanthropic support.

Responsibilities

• Strategic fundraising leadership, including development and delivery of fundraising strategy and anniversary campaign.
• Major donor fundraising, including managing a pipeline of major philanthropic prospects.
• Team leadership and relationship management, supporting Development team members and stakeholders.
• Association with Arts Council England’s National Portfolio as part of a national charity network.
