The Citizens Theatre Ltd. is seeking a Development Director to lead the theatre's fundraising strategy and achieve agreed philanthropic income targets.

This is a strategic, relationship-led role reporting to the Artistic Director & Executive Director, with responsibility for a broad programme of fundraising across trusts, foundations, statutory funders, individuals and corporate partnerships. Key Relationships: Board of Directors , Senior Management Team

Contract: Permanent , either full time (1.0 FTE) or part time (0.8 FTE)

Purpose of the role

The Development Director is a senior leader within the Citizens Theatre, responsible for the creation and delivery of the Citizens Theatre’s fundraising strategy and accountable for achieving agreed philanthropic income targets.

You will lead a programme of fundraising across trusts and foundations, statutory funders, individual giving, major donors, corporate partnerships and other philanthropic opportunities.

This is a strategic and relationship-led role.
