We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Development Coach to help shape the future of sprint cycling in Aotearoa. Working under the guidance of the HP Development Lead - Athletes and Coaches, you’ll help deliver the national pathway program and ensure a smooth and inspiring journey for our emerging athletes into elite competition.

What You’ll Do:

Coach and mentor Sprint athletes within the development program

Support the implementation of athlete development strategies and track progress

Collaborate with Lead Coaches and support staff to ensure a clear and connected athlete pathway

Build and manage individual performance plans (IPPs)

Lead targeted national and international campaigns (e.g., Junior Worlds)

What You’ll Bring:

Proven experience coaching track cycling at performance or pre-high performance level

Strong understanding of athlete development and performance tracking

A collaborative mindset and a passion for developing young talent

Strong communication and planning skills

Relevant coaching qualifications or sport science degree preferred

Comfortable working in dynamic, team-based environments
