Zusammenfassung

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Development Chemist to join a small, collaborative technical team in the cosmetics sector. You will design and reformulate skincare and bath & body products, liaising with contract manufacturers and suppliers to meet quality, timelines and regulatory requirements.

This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover with an urgent hire emphasis. You will manage testing programs, collaborate with fragrance houses, mentor junior staff and help scale up

Qualifikationen

• Proven formulation development in bath & body and skincare.
• Strong problem solving for formulation and process.
• Excellent communication, organisation and planning abilities.
• Solid project management and familiarity with the NPD process.

Aufgaben

• Develop innovative formulations from client briefs and performance criteria.
• Reformulate existing products to meet updated regulations and optimise cost.
• Liaise with contract manufacturers and suppliers on quality, timelines and compliance.
• Partner with fragrance houses to create bespoke fragrances and manage regulatory docs.
• Coordinate and remotely manage product testing, user trials and clinical studies.
• Oversee and review product artwork for technical and regulatory accuracy.
• Collaborate with production to resolve scale-up and process challenges; ensure batch consistency.
• Mentor junior chemists and technicians to develop technical skills.
• Contribute to cross-functional project teams aligning development with business goals.
