We’re looking for someone with a few years of experience as a Development Chemist. If you excel at communicating technical information across all levels of a business, have a passion for innovation, are self-motivated, and possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, this could be the perfect role for you. The role is within our R&D team in Flitwick, working closely with our R&D team in Larne, Northern Ireland.

What you’ll be doing:

• Researching and leading R&D projects focused on innovation
• Managing new product development, cost-saving, and sustainability projects
• Using technical knowledge to develop and adjust product formulations
• Developing knowledge of raw materials and products
• Ensuring products are fully tested internally and externally to meet relevant standards, in collaboration with Marketing and Technical teams
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of standards, policies, and regulations relevant to R&D and the product category

What you need to be successful:

• Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills for technical information sharing
• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects
• Eagerness and willingness to learn
• Creativity, proactivity, and teamwork skills
