Do you hold a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science? Are you passionate about leveraging chemistry to drive industrial innovation and help “Make the World a Better Home”?

We’re looking for someone who has a few years of experience as a Development Chemist. If you excel at communicating technical information across all levels of a business, a passion for innovation, are self-motivated, and possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, this could be the perfect role for you. The role sits within our R&D team here in Flitwick working closely with our R&D team in Larne, Northern Ireland.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Researching and leading R&D projects with a focus on innovation
  • Managing new product development, cost saving and sustainability projects.
  • Using technical knowledge to develop and adjust product formulations.
  • Actively seeking to develop knowledge of raw materials and products
  • Taking responsibility for ensuring products are fully tested internally and externally to comply with the relevant standard(s), as agreed with Marketing and Technical.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of standards, policies and regulations that apply to R&D and own product category.

What you need to be successful:

  • Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information.
  • Ability to lead and manage various projects.
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn.
  • Be creative, proactive and work as part of a team.
