What You’ll Be Doing

  • Innovating at the molecular level: Design and synthesize advanced porous materials like MOFs, COFs, and zeolites.
  • Refining performance: Tailor material properties to enhance stability, surface area, and adsorption capabilities.
  • Hands-on experimentation: Use a range of analytical tools (BET, PXRD, SEM, NMR, TGA, etc.) to characterize and test materials.
  • Bridging lab and industry: Collaborate with engineers to scale up materials for practical deployment.
  • Sharing insights: Document your work clearly and present findings to both internal teams and external partners.

What You Bring

  • A postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD) in chemistry, materials science, or a related discipline.
  • Practical experience in synthesizing and analysing porous materials.
  • A methodical, adaptable approach to experimentation and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience in scaling up chemical processes.
  • Postdoctoral or industrial R&D background.
