We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Chef- Catering Team to join Brakes.
The role involves developing compelling menu solutions tailored to our customers' needs across various sectors. The successful candidate will support many care catering customers. While prior experience isn't essential, a strong desire to learn and succeed in this sector is crucial.
You will help support our customers' growth and address their challenges by showcasing Brakes’ innovation and product range. Responsibilities include supporting trade shows, internal and customer events, and influencing NPD by feeding market trends and customer requests into our innovation process. Ultimately, this role brings our food proposition to life for our customers to help them grow and enable Brakes to thrive.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record across multiple sectors, with evidence of progress. A City & Guilds 706/1&2 or equivalent qualification, experience in building fully costed recipes and menus, and excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. A deep understanding of the UK Foodservice industry and trends, a passion for fresh produce, proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and a clean UK driving license are essential for regular travel.
