Job description

Job Title – Development and Training Consultant

Department/Sector – Travel

Job Location – Across the country

Salary and benefit – £25k plus company car

My client is recruiting a Development and Training Consultant to design and deliver effective travel sector training and coaching to Sales staff across the group.

The main purpose of your role is to ensure sales staff meets their potential of being able to maximise sales and generate profitability for the company.

In the role you will have to undertake regular travel to a number of shops/call centres across the UK.

You must have a flexible approach to frequent travel and overnight stays away from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide management with reports of each office visit
  • Review and update training and coaching material
  • Design and deliver Sales training workshops for new and existing staff
  • Foster strong working relationships between the Sales team
  • Ensure all coaching and training is delivered in a professional manner across all locations
  • Create a highly motivated environment at all times and react appropriately to learning abilities
  • Undertake training needs analysis to identify opportunities to improve and develop Sales
  • Provide feedback and recommend development solutions to Sales Managers.
  • Design and deliver training and coaching programmes
  • Provide pre and post-training support to Sales staff on a 1-1 basis.
  • Partner the Sales Managers to ensure solutions are fully supported and implemented
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes
