We are seeking to appoint a Development and Improvement Officer to join our Prevention Development and Improvement Team. The successful candidate will lead a small team of Development and Improvement Support Officers, working closely with Education, Quality Assurance, and Evaluation Officers.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading, managing, and developing teams, fostering a positive working environment.
This role involves managing team performance, prioritising and planning work aligned with ‘The Strategy’ and the Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP). You will contribute to making the West Midlands safer, stronger, and healthier by implementing service improvements for partnerships, prevention activities, and education programs.
You must ensure that all changes and improvements comply with government legislation, statutory guidance, NFCC guidance, local authority campaigns, organisational policies, and emerging trends.
Key to success will be your ability to work collaboratively, developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with your team, the Prevention and Leadership Teams, Operations, and various internal and external stakeholders.
