Developer Pulse Programming Clinical MRI
Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to contribute to MR pulse sequence development in the MR business, working with an international team of software developers to innovate and improve the MR products.

Your role:

  1. Developing and adapting MR pulse sequences to provide improvements in image quality or new clinical contrasts
  2. Investigating root causes of customer complaints
  3. Contributing to regulatory clearance of new products
  4. Maintaining connections with other groups within Philips as well as external customers, to share knowledge in new applications of MR physics
  5. Contributing to invention disclosures

You're the right fit if:

  1. Masters or PhD in Physics, Mathematics, or MR related science
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in MRI
  3. In-depth understanding of MR physics and experience with pulse sequence software
  4. Affinity with programming in C++ and/or Python, with an interest in creating high quality software
  5. Proven innovation ability (e.g., patents, journal papers)
  6. Fluency in English
  7. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
  8. Creative and innovative with a willingness to take risks in order to create advanced concepts through fast prototyping, and able to engineer these prototypes into solid product designs

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
