Job Description

Hybrid/home based with office visits depending upon location.

We are seeking a Software Developer to work on challenging projects with the UK Government. Our development includes regular updates due to new legislation, high-profile changes, and new software to help our customers implement government schemes quickly. Our software provides essential assistance to citizens and businesses throughout the UK.

This role involves developing Oracle Web-based applications for local authorities and central government clients in the UK, providing technical support for these applications. Solutions are delivered as on-premise applications or hosted SaaS solutions. Key skills required are Oracle, PL/SQL, and Oracle Apex.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in full lifecycle development of large applications using Oracle database and tools
  • Strong PL/SQL skills, including writing design specifications, problem-solving, and performance tuning
  • Understanding of application and data security
  • Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
  • Experience with XML, JSON, SOAP, REST
  • Experience with Pro*C
  • Experience with Java
  • Relevant Computer Science or Technical Degree
