Developer Community Programs Specialist, United Kingdom (Remote, London)

Community and open-source software are at the heart of everything we do at Grafana Labs. As a Developer Community Programs Specialist, you will support our team’s engagement with the open-source and developer communities.

In this role, you will help implement and execute programs that empower community members to succeed with Grafana Labs projects. You’ll facilitate connections between community members and guide internal teams on community engagement. The ideal attributes include being a communicator, empathetic, resilient, a problem-solver, organizer, and collaborator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of regional community strategies to grow the Grafana community, with guidance.
  • Organize events such as meetups, willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Support and develop engagement programs to better serve the Grafana community.
  • Engage with the community through online and in-person channels.
  • Build relationships with internal teams to enable community contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • At least 2 years supporting developer communities at a global, regional, or local level.
  • Experience organizing meetups and conferences for 2+ years.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, especially with community members and affinity groups.
  • Experience leading projects with creative approaches and process improvements.
  • Ability to manage a wide range of requests and opportunities.
  • Analytical skills to understand community needs and health.
  • Comfort working independently and proactively in a distributed environment.
  • Willingness to help solve problems and relay community feedback.
  • Must be located in the United Kingdom.
  • Familiarity with or experience in the open-source community.
  • Understanding or experience in the observability community.
  • Familiarity with Grafana Labs technology.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.

The base salary range in the UK is GBP 52,000 - GBP 63,000, with actual compensation depending on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, bonuses, and other listed perks.
