Overview

Office Administrator. Are you a master of organisation with a passion for keeping things running like clockwork? We're looking for a proactive, detail-driven Office Administrator to become the backbone of our busy manufacturing office.

Poynton has an excellent heritage in Global Defence & Security markets. The team manufacture a wide range of products including Satellite Communication, Power Management Control, Surveillance and Counter-IED equipment's. Manufacturing and test skills employed include electronic and electro-mechanical assembly, panel / cabinet wiring and testing of the final built assemblies.

This role is on a full time, permanent contract, working 37 hours flexitime across 4.5 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Collate and archive Project End Item Data Packs
  • Administration of equipment calibration records
  • Administration and control of security badge access
  • Reception duties, greeting clients and visitors
  • Assist in the first day induction of new employees
  • Using office equipment, printers, scanners and photocopiers
  • Stock control of office general supplies
Qualifications
  • Ability to multi-task and manage their own time effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in PC-based software packages, including MS Excel & Word
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy
  • Professional and courteous manner, representing the company positively
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
