Job description

Join Ocado Logistics as a Warehouse Operative and unlock a world of opportunities!

As a Warehouse Operative at Ocado Logistics, you'll be central to preparing orders for our customers in our state-of-the-art facility in Andover. We offer various roles across different areas, with flexible shifts to help you balance work and personal life. Our core roster allows you to plan your schedule up to 13 weeks in advance. You will work in both ambient and chilled environments (-5℃).

We have roles available in the following areas:

  1. Despatch: 07:00 - 17:00 (Days) or 21:00 - 07:00 (Nights). Responsibilities include loading totes into frames and organizing totes for delivery. This role involves physical lifting, so a good level of fitness is beneficial.
  2. Pick: 05:00 - 15:00 (Days) or 19:00 - 05:00 (Nights). You'll pick and pack customer orders, handling goods carefully, with assistance from robots.
  3. Inbound: 06:00 - 17:00 (Days) or 19:00 - 06:00 (Nights). Your task is to receive goods from suppliers and store them appropriately.
  4. Freezer: 05:00 - 15:00 (Days) or 19:00 - 05:00 (Nights). Work involves picking and packing frozen items in temperatures up to -25℃, with full gear provided.

Shifts are available days and nights, with details discussed during your application process.

What do you get in return?

Salary (from 31st March 2025): Starting at £12.21/hour, with a night shift premium of +£2.50/hour, and a freezer premium of +£0.80/hour. Overtime is paid at 1.25x the basic rate.
