Warehouse Operator in the Despatch Department

Reporting into the Despatch Manager

About the role

We’re looking to hire a forklift truck driver to join our team in our fast-paced, customer-focused warehouse. You will be part of a friendly team responsible for loading and unloading packaging in line with internal and customer requirements while following H&S standards.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to work as part of a team and also use your own initiative. Excellent communication skills and flexibility to meet customer demand are essential.

You will be accountable for your own and others' health and safety at work, operating in line with SSOW (safe systems of work) and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Immediately report any unsafe acts observed to the concerned individuals or appropriate personnel.
• Perform general warehouse duties including Goods In and Goods Out according to company procedures and standards.
• Ensure all documentation and records are current and reflect working practices.

We will provide all relevant training, including safe systems of work and standard operating procedures, to equip you with the skills to shunt trailers and secure loads. You are expected to work in line with our core values: Be Caring, Challenging, Trusted, Responsive, & Tenacious.

About you

Minimum requirements:

• Fork Lift Truck License
• Fork Lift Truck Experience
• Safety Conscious individual
