Despatch & Stores Operative

Full time, permanent
£25,400 - £26,600 per annum depending on experience

The Role

This is a varied and fast-moving position within the despatch and stores team, perfect for someone who enjoys working with precision and thrives in a collaborative, energetic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pick and pack customer orders for both UK and international despatch
2. Book shipments and liaise with couriers to arrange timely deliveries
3. Communicate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment
4. Handle and process returned materials
5. Pick and issue materials for the manufacturing process
6. Receive incoming goods, unpack, and upload into the system
7. Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all store and despatch areas

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a detail-driven, methodical individual who brings energy and enthusiasm to every task. Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment is preferred, and a forklift licence would be a big plus. About you:

1. Previous warehouse/despatch experience
2. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
3. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
5. A forklift truck licence (desirable)
6. A team-focused attitude and willingness to get stuck in
