Job summary

Formula One Range Group in Walsall invites applications for a manufacturing operative role. You will join a busy factory team, handling daily production boards, loading finished goods for dispatch and ensuring loads are secure and safe on site.

The position requires physical fitness for regular lifting, accuracy in cutting from paperwork, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team under pressure. On-site parking and opportunities for progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment & window industry
• Physically fit as role involves regular heavy lifting
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, work as part of a team and work on their own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Experience in cutting ancillary products accurately from paperwork
• Organizing and preparing daily boards for production
• Loading out all finished items onto delivery vehicles (Manual handling training given)
• Ensuring loads are prepared safely and securely
• Maintaining a clean & safe loading area
• Working efficiently to meet targets set
• Working to despatch schedules
• Checking quality of workmanship & will be reporting to their Team Leader
• Strictly always adhering to all health and safety procedures
