Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe in Spalding is seeking a Despatch Operative to join our team. You will handle dispatch tasks, ensure timely loading, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced food production environment.

This role requires good communication, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn; training for forklift operation (counterbalance and reach) will be provided. 37.5 hour week with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and able to use basic systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Fast learner ready to undertake forklift operation training.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to H&S and Food Safety standards at all times.
• Carry out dispatch and manual handling tasks to meet deadlines.
• Opportunities to train and operate counterbalance and reach trucks.
• Work as part of a team and take responsibility for own work.
• Carry out any other duties as required to meet business needs.
