Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a warehouse operative to pack OE, spare and repaired parts for air and road freight in a safe, compliant manner and to support despatch operations. A current forklift licence and BPSS clearance are required, along with prior packing experience and the ability to work under pressure.

The role involves loading freight onto vehicles and ensuring secure handover, with potential to join an Out of Hours AOG rota after qualification.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Forklift licence
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance required
• Known Consignor Qualification
• Previous warehouse packing experience
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Pack OE, spares and repaired items for air and road freight to ATA300 standard
• Pack OE, spare and repaired parts
• Load freight onto collection vehicles safely and securely and oversee handover
• Work compliantly with export regulations for military parts
• Respond to AOG requests in a timely manner
• Use of Forklift Truck to load freight and move assembled propellers
• Provide information and support to the Despatch Administration Team
• Opportunity to join Out of Hours AOG rota (after qualifying period)
