Job Role

The Despatch Operative ensures stock is correctly selected and dispatched promptly according to customer specifications.

Pay rate: £13.45 per hour

Location: Main Street, Anwick, NG34 9SL

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Promote health and safety for oneself and others.
2. Report health and safety issues to your manager.
3. Report accidents or near misses to the first aider.
4. Maintain good behaviour standards.
5. Ensure quality and hygiene standards are upheld.
6. Maintain productivity standards.
7. Work in any area of the business as required.
8. Perform overtime or work outside core hours as needed.
9. Reduce environmental impact through waste reduction and recycling.
10. Understand processes within Pilgrims Europe.
11. Develop skills in line with Moy Park competency framework.
12. Achieve line speeds and performance targets.
13. Monitor and report on product quality and labelling.
14. Suggest improvements to work methods.
15. Understand machinery operation within your area.
16. Complete paperwork accurately and timely, and train staff as needed.
17. Assist in training new colleagues.
18. Comply with health, safety, and environmental legislation and policies.
19. Maintain hygiene and security standards.
20. Work overtime on weekends or at shift end as required.
21. Report any incidents affecting company security or reputation.
22. Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
