Job summary

Pilgrim's Pride Limited is seeking a fixed-term warehouse operative to join our UK site. You will handle manual tasks, operate PPT and Fork Lift Truck, and ensure compliance with H&S and Food Safety standards.

Key duties include stock receipt and booking in SAP/Arolink, loading/unloading vehicles, documenting records, and participating in monthly stocktakes. Candidates must be practical, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Experience working on PPT and/or FLT Reach Truck is essential.
• Basic H&S and Food Safety Awareness.
• Practical/manual handling skills.
• Hands-on approach to solving issues.
• Able to work independently and learn new skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and booking in stock correctly using the SAP and Arolink software systems.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles as per the trunking schedules.
• Ensuring all documentation for stock and equipment is completed correctly and filed away accordingly.
• Participate in the monthly stocktake to ensure that stocks within the warehouse are correct and reporting any discrepancies to your Area Supervisor.
• Ensure dolavs are clean before being used.
• Working on the X-Ray machine and completing associated CCP paperwork.
• Decanting product and working on your own initiative in a physically demanding role.

Job description

Successful candidate will join us on fixed term basis. You will perform manual handling tasks and operate PPT & Fork Lift Truck whilst ensuring you comply with Company policies, H&S and Food Safety Standards at all times. Your main tasks will include:

• Receiving and booking in stock correctly using the SAP and Arolink software systems.

• Decanting product. The successful applicant will be able to work on their own initiative, be self-motivated and able to undertake all aspects of what can be a physically demanding role. Experience working on PPT and/or FLT Reach Truck is essential., A good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
