Job summary

Dunbia is seeking a Despatch Operative to join our fast-paced Despatch department. The role focuses on ensuring timely product despatch and adherence to customer specifications in a busy food processing environment.

You will be responsible for manual lifting, picking, scanning, loading trailers, and maintaining accurate paperwork while working alongside Logistics, Planning, Sales and Transport teams. A reliable, team-oriented individual with good numeracy and literacy is essential.

Qualifications

• Good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to work in a team and also independently.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Reliable with own transport where required.

Responsibilities

• Despatch duties including lifting, picking, scanning and loading trailers.
• Manage inbound and outbound trailers and move pallets safely.
• Label and wrap pallets and ensure correct location scanning.
• Communicate with Logistics, Planning, Sales and Transport teams.
• Process paperwork and seal trailers to meet customer specifications.
• Support Supervisors/Managers to maintain service standards and maintain good housekeeping.
