Position Overview

Lorien's Government client is currently recruiting for Desktop Support Engineers to join on a contract basis.

Candidate Requirements: Must have SC Clearance or be willing to obtain SC Clearance with a UK passport.

Responsibilities

Clinic Migration Set-up:

• Set-up Refresh Clinic
• Move devices as instructed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic
• Login to systems via provided devices under instructions

Refresh laptops:

• Collect existing devices from users and hand over new devices according to the migration schedule and processes
• Update the Contractor's workflow management system at all relevant steps
• Report issues promptly to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager
• Pass unresolved issues to an onsite Post Migration Support Engineer
• Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings
• Package old devices for disposal or refurbishment, marking boxes accordingly
• End of day, move devices and equipment to onsite storage
