Job summary

Interface Recruitment partners with an established engineering software company just outside Lincoln to recruit an experienced C# developer for Windows desktop applications. You will design, develop and extend rich desktop programs (C#/.NET with some C++) used by engineers in the UK and worldwide.

Qualifications

• Strong C# skills with a focus on Windows desktop applications.
• Significant experience with the .NET framework.
• Commercial software development experience including ownership of complex technical work.
• An interest or aptitude in maths or engineering.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn the engineering domain; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Own significant features and development projects from planning with product experts to delivery.
• Design, develop, test and debug functionality and user interfaces in C#/.NET.
• Build new applications and extend established codebases.
• Find and deliver performance improvements in application code.
• Help package and release software and resolve licence management issues.
• Support customers and end users, and attend exhibitions or industry events.
