Job summary

RBC Capital Markets in London is seeking an AI Engineer to build desk-facing applied AI capabilities for Sales & Trading, with focus on how clients are understood, how prices are set, and how price informs sales decisions.

You will frame business questions as quantitative AI problems, develop predictive analytics for electronic trading and automated pricing, and implement scalable data workflows that run reliably in production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience deploying DL/ML models in production.
• Post-secondary degree in Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• A track record shipping end-to-end systems used by real users.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and applied AI/Generative AI frameworks.
• Experience with quantitative analysis and writing scalable data computations.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and distributed computing.
• Interest in applying new technologies to create business outcomes.
• Understanding of Sales & Trading workflows in Capital Markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build desk-facing applied AI capabilities for Sales & Trading.
• Frame ambiguous commercial questions as tractable quantitative AI problems.
• Develop predictive analytics for electronic trading and automated pricing.
• Design and implement computation at scale for heavy data work.
• Deliver end-to-end AI solutions from evaluation to adoption.
• Learn from user feedback and improve capabilities after deployment.
