Desktop Property Loss Adjuster

Our Desktop Loss Adjusters bring diverse technical and professional expertise, but all share a passion to represent the broader Davies team. As a Desktop Loss Adjuster, you'll handle claims of varying complexity and value efficiently, supporting the Loss Adjusting team.

What will your day look like:

This role is busy with a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  1. Having detailed knowledge of Domestic & Commercial claims, processes, and interpreting policy cover, terms, and conditions.
  2. Understanding building structures, foundations, walls, spanning members, and building materials, including material pathology.
  3. Diagnosing building defects and identifying remedial actions.
  4. Understanding principles of building repair and maintenance.
  5. Proactively directing investigations based on circumstances.
Knowledge and Abilities:

Candidates should have:

  • Previous Desk Adjusting experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependability and persistence.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Full driving license.
  • Insurance claims experience.
