British Transport Police is seeking a Designing Out Crime Officer to advise on CPTED and security across rail environments. You will influence design and investment decisions, assess risks, and partner with authorities, architects and engineers to embed crime-prevention principles into developments.
You will travel extensively, work across teams, and deliver evidence-based risk assessments and high-quality outputs while advancing public safety on the rail network.
Location: Liverpool, Manchester Peninsula or Preston

Are you looking for your next exciting career move? British Transport Police have an excellent opportunity for a Designing Out Crime Officer (DOCO) to join the Network Policing Support Department. As a Designing Out Crime Officer (DOCO) with BTP, you will provide specialist advice and guidance on Crime Prevention Through Environment Design (CPTED), protective security and public safety risk across the rail environment. You will influence design, investment and operational decisions to help reduce crime, improve public safety and support safer railway infrastructure and developments.
