Brand

We are excited to be launching a new brand underneath the Next Wholly Owned Brands umbrella. Our new venture will be a lifestyle brand for the style curator - cool and contemporary. We are seeking ambitious talent to be part of this start up brand launching late 2025.

Role Purpose:

Lead the process of design and development of the department, building a balanced, comprehensive offer with required pricing structure and margin. Offer newness combined with commerciality and a strong affinity for fast fashion influenced by the latest catwalk and trend predictions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the design, development and delivery of relevant and trend led product for a certain product area
  • Presenting new product ranges to management and buying teams
  • Liaise with the sample room and brief designs to the creative pattern cutters
  • Creating mood and trend boards seasonally, plus colour palettes and print research
  • Manage design assistant including planning workload and providing design direction
  • Planning of development trip calendar to achieve option plan
  • Inspirational trips- NYC, Paris, London to research product for all areas of the business
  • Travelling to India and China to develop product and range build
  • Produce concepts, trends, and storyboards
  • Understanding pricing-margins- design to price point
  • Liaising with production on all order approvals and costing issues
  • To continually aim to develop yourself, asking your Line Manager for support and guidance.
  • To complete any other duties as reasonably requested by the company to ensure the continuous development of the business

Role Requirements:

  • Eye for colour, trends, and fashion
