Qualifications

Creative Designer - packaging and branding

Location: Essex (Fully Onsite)

Salary: Up to £40,000

An established and fast-paced consumer goods company is looking for an experienced Creative Designer to join its in-house Creative Team. Reporting to the Head of Creative, this role offers the chance to work across a diverse and high-volume product range, including packaging, branding, print, and digital design.

The ideal candidate will bring strong visual design skills, a solid understanding of packaging and print processes, and experience working with well-known brands and licensed properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop original concepts across packaging, marketing, and digital platforms
  • Design engaging and innovative visuals for products, branding, and campaigns
  • Ensure consistency across brand messaging and visual output
  • Produce final artwork and manage asset libraries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with business goals
  • Prioritise and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar design role
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong skills in visual storytelling, layout, and typography
  • Experience with AI-generated imagery
  • Familiarity with packaging production and print processes
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills

Preferred

  • Adobe XD and After Effects
  • Photography and image editing skills
  • Understanding of digital marketing design requirements
