Overview

We are working with a London-based luxury retailer renowned for its carefully curated collections and iconic British heritage. With continued investment in its private label offering, the business is now looking for a talented designer to join the homeware and seasonal team.

Responsibilities
  • Design across a wide range of home and seasonal categories, including decorations, mugs, and giftable items.
  • Provide creative direction while ensuring alignment with brand identity and luxury taste level.
  • Collaborate closely with buyers and track progress across the critical path.
  • Manage one Assistant Designer and act as the Buying Manager’s right hand.
  • Communicate effectively with international factories and production partners.
  • Work at pace with autonomy, pushing back where needed while staying commercially grounded.
The Candidate
  • A strong junior or assistant designer ready to step up, or an experienced designer with relevant product experience.
  • Creative and conceptually strong with a sharp eye for luxury homeware and gifting aesthetics.
  • Commercially aware and confident managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, collaborative, and happy to take initiative and lead on projects.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in liaising with global suppliers and cross-functional teams.
