Job summary

Technical Partners is seeking an experienced Designer to work on specialist glazing and façade projects in the Newcastle-under-Lyme office. The role involves producing detailed technical drawings and developing concepts through construction, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has proven glazing design experience, strong drawing skills and familiarity with CAD tools; Revit is a bonus. This is a permanent, office-based position offering a hands-on design role.

Qualifications

• Glazing design experience is essential.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Experience with glazing, façade or building envelope is preferred.
• Revit experience would be beneficial.

• Producing detailed designs and technical drawings for glazing projects

Designer - Glazing

Salary: £40,000-£48,000

Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme

Working Pattern: 4 days per week in the office

Our client is looking for an experienced Designer to join their team, working across a range of specialist glazing and façade projects.

The successful candidate will have proven glazing design experience and be confident producing detailed technical drawings and designs. Revit experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Requirements

• Glazing design experience is essential
• Previous experience within the glazing, façade or building envelope sector
• Strong technical drawing and design skills
• Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings
• Revit experience would be beneficial
• Experience with relevant CAD/design software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organisational skills
