Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Designer/Senior Designer to work on complex facade projects in North London. You will produce detailed drawings, coordination across architectural and structural plans, and deliver technical specifications for cladding systems.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a track record of delivering under pressure and a solid understanding of UK building regulations and CDM requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing facades and building envelopes for complex projects.
• Ability to interpret and coordinate structural/architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

The Role - Designer/Senior Designer

My client are looking for an experienced Designer, who is comfortable working independently on high pressure projects.

• Producing detailed technical drawings, construction details and specifications.
• Designing for SFS, rainscreen cladding, render and curtain walling.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure designs are fully coordinated.
• Good understanding of UK building regulations, CDM requirements, and compliance standards.
• Attend design meetings and provide technical expertise on façade and cladding systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
