Job summary

Job Description

• Manage façade design projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring designs are delivered accurately and on programme
• Produce and review detailed technical drawings and design information for façade systems
• Manage your own workload and priorities while coordinating the work of a small design team
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design and technical queries
• Review designs for technical accuracy, compliance, buildability, and quality
• Support project planning, design programmes, and coordination across multiple projects
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers where required
• Attend design meetings and provide technical input throughout project delivery

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications

• Strong experience within the façade sector, ideally in a design, technical, or design management position
• Proven ability to produce and interpret detailed technical drawings
• Experience managing design projects and coordinating workloads
• Strong understanding of façade systems, construction, and technical design principles
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects from start to finish
• Experience managing or mentoring a small design team would be advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A hands‑on approach to design — comfortable both managing projects and producing drawings
