Job Description:

Designer required to join a leading construction specialist located in North-West London. The company offers cladding solutions to the commercial and residential sectors. Due to continuous growth, they are seeking a Designer to join their team.

Remuneration:

• Starting salary £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)
• 31 Days holiday (including Bank Holidays, plus additional days for long service)

Position Overview:

• Oversee the design for external elevation cladding panel layout drawings and fixing system layouts for clients.
• Work from general architect intent drawings or pre-dimensioned panel design drawings received from design and build contractor customers.
• Issue instructions to design suppliers where necessary and check their work before passing to the internal project manager for release to production.
• Maintain good relationships with outsourced façade design partners, providing input to minimize omissions that could affect project progress.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Minimum 2 years' experience using AutoCAD
• Excellent attention to detail
• Enjoy working as part of a small team
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• High-quality verbal and written communication skills
