Designer

LeMieux has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Designer looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing global equestrian company.

We have an ambitious vision and are looking to add to our 170-strong HQ team to achieve it. You’ll be working alongside our talented team of designers to achieve innovative and world-class designs and ultimately, help make LeMieux the most exciting equestrian brand on the planet.

As an Equestrian Product Designer, you will report into the Head of Design and will be responsible for designing and developing products within your categories from concept right through to production. Working to the critical path, you will be required to ensure that deadlines are met, and the product is delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate across departments and teams to develop exceptional products that meet our customers' needs.
2. Own the design process, from conceptualisation right through to production sign off, on your given categories.
3. Work to the critical path, ensuring deadlines are met and product is delivered on time.
4. Be commercially minded when designing and bringing product to life.
5. Pay meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of design.
6. Create clear and accurate design packs and liaise with factories to ensure correct execution and deadlines are met.
7. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings.

Suitable applicants will display the following:

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, or a related field, or industry equivalent experience.
2. Experience of working with technical / performance fabrics.
3. Proven ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment.
4. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
5. Self-sufficient and able to take initiative.
6. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
7. Be highly proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator / Photoshop.
8. Equestrian experience / interest is preferred although not essential.
