We are looking for a CAD Designer to join a client in the London area. The CAD Designer is needed to join the commercial team and work closely with the commercial director.
As a CAD Designer, with knowledge in the architectural metalwork, balustrades, balconies, canopies, and staircases sector, you will be making a move to a leading contractor promising growth and stability.
- Minimum 5 years' design experience.
- Relevant degree (i.e. Architecture; Structural Engineering).
- Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical documentation.
- Assist in system design by providing accurate layouts and specifications for various projects.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and regulations.
- Strong technical drawing skills in AutoCAD and Tekla.
- Understanding of architectural/construction processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- 2D/3D drawing skills.
- Knowledge of relevant Building Regulations.
