Job summary

Hollingworth Academy in Milnrow, Rochdale, is seeking a Designated Safeguarding Lead to oversee all child protection matters and support staff with safeguarding duties. The post is permanent and part of the academy’s safeguarding team, aligned with the Hollingworth Learning Trust.

You will manage referrals, liaise with safeguarding agencies, train staff, and raise awareness of safeguarding across the school.

• Taking lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection matters arising at the Academy.
• Supporting staff in safeguarding duties and liaising with safeguarding agencies.
• Managing referrals and work with others, training and raising awareness.
