The Role

As a Designate Head Chef, you will inspire your team to exceed guest expectations, maintaining high standards. You will coach and develop your team to excel, driving performance and delivering exceptional results.

About You

  • Prioritize fostering a positive and inclusive work culture through emotional intelligence, inspiration, and effective delegation. You excel at influencing and empowering emerging leaders through training, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Are committed to delivering excellence in guest experience, ensuring every dish meets high standards by yourself or through your team’s skills and mindset.
  • Ensure your kitchen’s food safety, health, and safety standards are maintained, and understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labour costs, proactively spotting opportunities.
  • Focus on building and nurturing your team from recruitment to ongoing development, supporting personal and professional growth.
  • Care about creating an inclusive environment where your team feels respected and belongs, enabling them to flourish in their roles and careers.
