Overview

Designation: Designate General Manager

Lower Hyde Holiday Park — this role is based at Lower Hyde but must be flexible to be positioned at any parks across the South Coast region, including Isle of Wight, Dorset & Devon. Salary: £56,774.

At a strategic level, you’ll partner with Regional Directors and General Managers to hit EBITDA targets while championing the mission to craft unforgettable guest experiences.

As a Designate General Manager, you’ll help keep our holiday parks running smoothly across the nation. You’ll be flexible and ready to relocate to different parks as needed, ensuring you’re where the action is and making a big impact wherever you go.

What you will be doing
  • Champion our company values to create a positive, high-performing culture and engaged teams. Ensure compliance with legal, health, safety, and GDPR regulations.
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the park, including budgets, sales, profit margins, and expenses, to meet annual targets.
  • Hold weekly Head of Department meetings, weekly 1:1s, and monthly Health & Safety meetings to ensure teams collaborate within the business strategy and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with each Head of Department to craft and execute a tailored business plan for their area, including performance targets, control measures, and reporting systems.
  • Partner with the central People Team to recruit, onboard, and welcome new talent. Lead training and development for staff at all levels.
  • Lead park winterisation plans, capital projects, and identify weaknesses or security risks within systems.
  • Work with HODs to deliver park winterisation plans and capital expenditure projects.
