Design Technology Technician

CROMPTON HOUSE CHURCH OF ENGLAND SCHOOL

Grade 2 (£24,404 – £25,183 per annum FTE)

Actual Salary: £10,240 – £10,567 per annum

Hours: 18.75 hours a week, 3 hours 45 minutes a day (Mornings)

Term Time Only (39 weeks/year)

Location: Rochdale Road, Shaw, Oldham, OL2 7HS

Start date: As soon as Possible.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Design Technology Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to make a meaningful impact and work as part of a team or under their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and safety checks on workshop tools and equipment.
  • Carry out basic repairs and report faults.
  • Prepare and set up materials and tools for demonstrations and lessons.
  • Assist teachers during practical lessons.
  • Keep the workshop clean, organised and ensure safe storage of materials and tools.
