A leading Mixed School in Haringey is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Design & Technology Teacher specialising in Product Design for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful Design & Technology Teacher (Product Design) will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their design thinking and manufacturing skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Design & Technology with a focus on Product Design.
• Develop students' understanding of design methodologies, materials, and production processes relevant to Product Design.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Design & Technology curriculum, specifically within Product Design.
• Maintain a safe and effective workshop environment for Product Design activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design & Technology, ideally with a focus on Product Design.
• Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4), with experience in Product Design.
• Strong practical skills and knowledge of design processes, materials, and manufacturing relevant to Product Design.
