A large secondary school in Islington is currently looking to appoint a qualified Design and Technology teacher to teach resistant materials and product design, with a focus on woodwork.

The Role

This is a full-time teaching position within the school's Design and Technology department. You will teach mixed ability classes across KS3 and KS4. Year 7 and 8 classes provide a broad introduction to all Design and Technology subjects, with an emphasis on basic woodworking skills. From Year 9, students study Product Design through the AQA exam board, with a focus on resistant materials and woodworking.

You will be responsible for all aspects of teaching, learning, assessments, and coursework related to examinations. You will join an established team in the technology department that offers good support and career development opportunities.
